Andrew Boszhardt is an NYC-based actor and filmmaker. In addition to writing the script, he starred in the psychologic thriller “Breed of Greed” alongside Gina Gershon, which was released theatrically in September 2025 by Vertical Entertainment. It is now available for purchase and rental on Apple and Amazon. He has acted in a number of other feature films including “Fugitive Color” alongside Tony Winner Nicole Scherzinger and Chukwudi Iwuji and “Cutman” alongside Bill Fichtner and Chris Noth in addition to over a dozen shorts.
He has worked throughout the city on both Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway stages (The Player’s Theater, American Theater of Actors, Chain Theater, The Tank, etc.). This past Spring he acted in a play at the Chain Theater, “Short King,” and a play that he wrote, “The Housewarming,” that ran at The Players Theater.
For the past three years he has studied Strasberg’s Method with David Gideon and has also worked with other renowned teachers including Larry Moss, Lyle Kessler, and Robert McCaskill.
He has a film in development that will shoot this Fall.
Outside of film and theater, Andrew is a passionate musician (piano, guitar, and singing) and enjoys improv comedy.
His favorite book is East of Eden and his favorite film is Hannah and Her Sisters.
